In-Home Care in Greenville, SC
Non-medical in-home care that helps individuals live safely and comfortably at home — personalized to the person, not sold as a package.
What This Is
Everyday Support, Built Around One Person
Non-medical in-home care is practical, human help with daily living. It is what allows many people to stay in their own home rather than move somewhere else.
No two clients need the same thing. One person needs two mornings a week of help with a shower and a ride to the pharmacy. Another needs someone there every day. A third needs a caregiver so that a spouse who has been doing everything alone can finally sleep.
Personalized, not packaged
We do not sell tiers or bundles. We start with a conversation, complete an initial consultation and assessment as applicable, and build a plan from the services below — then adjust it as needs change.

Important Distinction
What Non-Medical Care Does Not Include
Being clear about boundaries protects everyone. Non-medical caregivers do not administer medications, perform clinical procedures, or provide nursing care. They are not a substitute for medical treatment, and Anu is not a Medicare-certified home health agency.
When nursing care is needed
If an individual’s needs require nursing services, Anu also offers Private Duty Nursing, a separate service provided by appropriately licensed nursing professionals. Many families use non-medical care only; some use both.
Questions
In-Home Care FAQs
Schedules are built around what the client actually needs, from a few hours a week to extended ongoing support. Minimums and availability depend on location, schedule, and staffing, so the clearest answer comes from a short conversation about your situation.
Yes, and they usually do. Needs shift after a hospital stay, a season of recovery, or simply over time. Care plans are reviewed and adjusted as needs change.
We work toward consistency so clients see familiar faces, and we consider personality and preferences when matching. Schedules, illness, and time off mean we cannot promise the same person at every single visit, but continuity is something we actively manage rather than leave to chance.
No. Non-medical caregivers provide medication reminders — non-clinical prompts that help a client follow the schedule their provider has already established. They do not administer medications. If medication administration is required, that is a nursing service; see Private Duty Nursing.
No. Non-medical in-home care is help with everyday living — bathing, meals, companionship, housekeeping, mobility. It is not skilled home health, and Anu is not a Medicare-certified home health agency. For individuals who need nursing care at home, we offer Private Duty Nursing as a separate service.
Call (864) 326-5936 or send a request through our contact page. We will talk through the situation, complete an initial consultation and assessment as applicable, and build an individualized care plan from there. See For Families for the full process.
