From the founder
Why I built Anu
I’m Samantha, an RN and the founder of Anu Health and Wellness.
After 18 years in nursing, I created Anu to help physician practices provide the consistent care coordination their patients need between office visits.
I understand the demands placed on clinical staff and the challenge of providing meaningful follow-up while managing a busy practice. The work is rarely neglected because anyone stops caring about it — it is neglected because there is no time left in the day, and no one whose job it is.
Anu was created to provide practices with an experienced RN partner who can take on appropriate care-management responsibilities and become an extension of the existing clinical team.
How Anu operates
Three things that do not change
The practice stays at the centre
Anu supports the physician–patient relationship. It does not insert itself into it, and it does not carry its own brand into the patient's experience of your practice.
Scope is explicit
Work is performed within the RN scope of practice and according to the contracting practice's policies, workflows and applicable requirements. Where something falls outside that, it comes back to the practice.
One RN, accountable
You contract with the nurse doing the work. Questions do not travel through an account manager to reach the person who made the call.
